Half/theory Label – 2003-2006

The Half/theory label was established by Scott Sinclair in 2003 and published limited edition works usually by Australian artists. Releases were published less frequently since Scott moved to Europe in 2006. Label statement: Half/theory represents a loose collective of Australian and New Zealand artists involved in experimental music, film, and their related hybrids. Half/theory aims to represent projects from Australia and New Zealand that would otherwise remain in obscurity and usually publishes

Halftheory.com Version 1 – 2004-2008

This version of halftheory.com focused on promoting experimental media events in Australia (particularly in Brisbane) as well as providing server space for independent artists. Halftheory.com Version 2 – 2008-2012

This version of halftheory.com was a collective webshop for Australian experimental artists. Using a custom CMS, artists were able to post and sell their works without any editorial or financial buffer between them and their audience.
