22 July 2006 – Ashton Court Festival
Hunting Lodge (you call this music?!) vs Company Fuck (you call these visuals?!)
first (and maybe last) ever Company Fuck VJ set!

On https://www.hunting-lodge.org it says:
“We are soundtracking the 1950 film by Jean Genet ‘un Chant D’Amour’ in the Blackout tent at Ashton Court Festival In Bristol on the 22nd july, 4:30pm.”
But sources close to the band say:
“we tried working out the sound track for the gay film but everything we did turned into fucking shit ‘epic-postrock’ so we figured we should just play a normal set (but our normal set doesnt really work over the gay flick)… company fuck is welcome to do the visuals…”
Should be interesting :)

IT WAS! Hunting Lodge played a great set, complete with impromptu grinder girl finale. Visuals consisted of strobing distorted test pattens being sent to a TV with fan-flapping plastic bags flying in front of them. Here’s some footage and photos-
