A.M is Antony Milton's 'noise/electronics' project with the microphone being
the primary instrument used. For this event A.M will be doing a
'performance' piece entitled 'Quiet' that explores the relationship between
the physicality of the performer and the aesthetics of 'noise music'.

THE NETHER DAWN
The Nether Dawn is Antony Milton's 'midnight drone blues' project. Murky
field recordings meet ethereal gestural guitar and sub-audible utterances to
create a sonic dreamscape. Antony will be joined by Leighton Craig for this
performance.

the fully assembled ensemble encompassing almost-all the members of the

tribal folk dirges to create true cosmic wreckage. michael donnelly and co.
are on a mission to find the perfect trip. their cathartic releases are
spewed straight from the earth's core. this is the aural transfixing of
melted rock and the hyperspace freeway. a total psychedelic journey. Welcome

THE LOST DOMAIN

The lost domain was formed in 1990 - albeit serving their apprenticeship
under two other names - and has gradually transformed their home territory
from that of a noisy stringband...to encompass oral storytelling, free-form
rock'n'roll, and drone and jazz-based improv styles which still, however,
remain closely-linked to the "common stock" nineteenth century rural musics
which originally inspired the group's formation. But still...what we do is
wing it, and we're never sure where we'll touch down. On the other hand,
long experience in this sort of thing pays off...so, you can be pretty sure
you'll enjoy the ride...should you take your chance in the lost domain.

IMPROMPTULONS
Emerging from Brisbane's fertile and incestous free noise underground, The
Impromtulons are a varied and unpredictable assualt on the 'group sound'
concept, somehow oscillating between bruit minimalism and the 'everybody
solos, nobody solos' principle.

FREE-K ENSEMBLE
Adam Park, Jamie Hume and Michael Baker of The Perfect Lovers family
twig..The Free-K ensemble are the reigning world champions of complete and
utter silence. Three admirable artists pulling violently and thoughtlessly
in totally arbitrary directions.

DRAWING, PRINTMAKING, SUPER 8 FILMMAKING, VHS / MDV VIDEO AND SOUND ART,
WOULD ANYONE BENEFIT?. THIS HINDSIGHT UNCHARTED BY-WAY OF THOUGHT OFTEN
APPEARING DISMAYINGLY NEAT AND TIDY IS MAYBE THE ART / FILM HISTORIAN'S
