Half/theory Shop Centenary!
It's official. The half/theory shop now contains over 100 weird and wonderful releases from the 'downunderground' sound family.
I'm proud to say that we've sold some cracking releases on CD, CDR, DVD, LP, and cassette, and we are adding more free MP3 music every day. It's been a pleasure this far and I'm sure it will continue to be as half/theory moves closer to total intergalactic control.
Japanese fans - you can now buy from us in Yen!
We now have 7 fantastic titles available from China's Doufu Records.

e-grind, digi-grind, emotronic, angry boys with guitars and drum machines... whatever you want to call it... i love brutal electronic/metal hybrid bands. and it seems like someone else does too because BBC radio has just done a feature on the whole schism.

Tony Buck live at the Tongue and Groove cafe for Audiopollen / Collage Planning
TONY BUCK one of Australia's greatest ever free jazz, free noise, free.... drummers, you know him from the brilliant minimalist ensemble THE NECKS, however his work expands far beyond this group into totally experimental, mind-bogglingly polyrhythmic and whiplashingly heavy explorations of all the possibilities of bashing resonant objects against one another.
