Audiopollen June 28th 2006 - Liquid Architecture and Wolf Eyes

hello friends and acquaintances,
audiopollen is a weekly radio program exploring experimental, avant-garde, outsider, noise and other forms of music. it broadcasts in brisbane on 4ZZZ 102.1fm and will eventually stream to the world in one way or another...

tonights edition of audiopollen is hosted as per usual by joel stern and lloyd barrett.

A huge program this week covering the Brisbane visit of both detriot-noise-punk wierdos wolf eyes and the national sound art festival liquid architecture 7

we started with a couple of classic wolf eyes tracks:

1. Half Animal, Half Insane from the album Dread...
2. Black Vomit from the album Burned Mind (subpop)...

We moved on to LA7 stuff with our special in studio guests Dean Roberts (NZ), Greg Davis (USA) and Jeff Jerman (USA). All three were very insightful and poetic when discussing their music, and Jeff revealed his love of Australian post-punk, espeically The Birthday Party!
