Tonight from 7PM at The Troubadour,$5 Trash Film Club presents A Very Pagan Easter kicking off with "Speak Of The Devil" compiling various shenanigans of the late founder of The Church of Satan(\/) Anton LaVey,followed by a half hour doco on the lost writings of Providence,Rhode Island(+) alumni H(oward).P(hillip). Lovecraft who still exerts an influence on current sci-fi/fantasy/horror rounded off with the 65 Leslie Stevens horror flick "Incubus"(in Esperanto with English subtitles) which would even leave Alejandro Jodorowsky & David Lynch
scratching their heads.

Fri. the 14th(Jason Vorhees is now only one day late) at Visible Ink,54 Berwick St,The Valley(up the road at Dooleys you can watch evolution as it happens) from 7-10PM,$4 is the Copy & Destroy Zine Library Relaunch with the Al-Qaeda approved progressive hardcore of Afterbath;Potato Masta whose vocal stylings will puzzle linguists for millenia to come & D-Wizz who prove that an 80s record collection & access to musical equipment is a dangerous thing indeed;along iwth zine readings & a Situationist doco. Sat. the 15th from 8PM free at Fat Louie's with electro-whiz Casionova(if it's digital he doesn't want to know about it) launching his stubbie
cooler;skronk-a-delica au-go-go with Gyanism & Impromptulons(Abject Leader/Afterbath/Free-k Ensemble/No Guru/Perfect Lovers/Unique Oil-Free Air/White Petunias members)who'll make you look forward to being caught in an extreme Siberian blizzard;Collapsicon(he's going to wash those nanobots right out of his hair);Matgoespop & Baka Tataku,pushing things beyond the
red & leaving burnt-out laptops wherever he goes. There is a 4ZZZ Raffle & $10 "jugs"(3 beers for the price of 2,as usual.

Also that night at The Tivoli is the return of Icelandic dreamweavers(lazy critspeak strikes again!) Sigur Ros leading the worldwide caimpaign for postive narcolepsy.

Sunday the 16th at The Rev is US avant hip hopper Prefuse 73(Anticon collective) for whom no bling is required with Black Grass(whooh,that's strong!I think's that Cthulhu calling),Pablo Discobar,F.A.Q.,DJ's Shannon & Ravi.

Coming soon to Brisdorf: dark folkster Marissa Nadler(good enough for Current 93's David Tibet,good enough for me) & power noise trio Wolf Eyes who show you how lame & conservative most conventional rock music is,both from the USA.
