1. Doornock-POP-action - Cambull Badgery (AKA Dr Zam Scamera)

This Saturday February 17th (tomoro) at 5pm
Dornoch Terrace Gazebo,
cnr Dornoch and Hampstead  rd.
Highgate Hill/W-End. Rain or Shine

A fresh look at the long-term-outsider-maverik-psycho-beat-freekster  Cambull Badgery (AKA Dr Zam Scamera) featuring Dugong  Assemblage guests.

Cambull began playing in Toowomba almost 30 years ago in  destroyed-noise-punk groups and has gone on to write his own chapter, in his  very own book; which includes episodes on SBS television, Glastonbury Festival,  JJJ and the entire East coast.

He has complemented such endeavours such as  Towoombas 'Forks for Eyes' art-collective, Kyogles MYMWLY horde and endless  warehouse and squat incidents. plus special guest appearances from (special guests).

Yeah, nahh- this  could be the best or worst show you will see this year-

once again....at the.....
Dornoch  Terrace Gazebo, cnr Dornoch and Hampstead rd. HH/WestEnd.

AND NEXT WEEK A REAL GIG AT A PROPER VENUE

2. Tony Buck and friends
TUE 20th FEB 2007 at 8pm / $5 (bargain!)

Tongue & Groove, 63 Hardgrave rd, West End,  BRISBANE

TONY BUCK
one of Australia's greatest ever free jazz, free  noise, free.... drummers, you know him from the brilliant minimalist ensemble  THE NECKS, however his work expands far beyond this group into totally  experimental, mind-bogglingly polyrhythmic and whiplashingly heavy explorations  of all the possibilities of bashing resonant objects against one another. This  is a rare chance to see TONY BUCK solo and in duo with Brisbane improvising electric guitarist/composer and free-wheeling sonic fortune-hunter YUSUKE AKAI.

with support, assistance, backing, blessing, encouragement, friendship,   patronage, and further sustenance from....

the dangerously hypnotic  G55, the deadly SUGAR LOGIC big-band, the ragtime played backwards old world charm of SUNSHINE HAS BLOWN, and the ambient supergroup of all time....DAIJI.I+LAWRENCE.E+STUART.B

see you there!
