lucas has acheived alot and little since he first began perfroming on homemade turntable contramptions on a live to air on radio show skid row 88.9fm (Graveyard shifts begin great for when your living out of a kombi). After robbie avenaim and oren ambarchi stumbled onto his show one night he was soon invited to play his first gig with them on 140794 that began Ten years of the widest interpretation of turntablism ranging from simple multi stlus setups played on high powered overhead motors while trampolining to fights in crowded room with styli swords.

His work with cartriges led him to an oral performance fixation first with skewers and garden tools and more recently leaving the cartriges behind instaead choosing grand piano contacts mics to ampliy sheets of glass which he plays with his face. The show ,justice yeldham and the dynamic ribbon device' has been on the road since nov 7th 2003, and here are some thoughts.

shard as his instrument, smearing blood and goop all over the glass with his face disgustingly smashed against it. did i mention he was barefoot the whole time? fucking insane. glass all over the basement at this point.. someone yelled "SUICIDE!" and it almost happened."

".I had taken him outside earlier because I figured, he's like ten thousand miles from home and would probably really like to get high. I'm asking him about his tour and I'm noticing that there's something wrong with his face - dried blood on the end of his nose and assorted scabs everywhere, and I really want to ask him but I don't.
